Frequently Asked Questions

You can store your blackVPN username and password in a file on your computer, rather than typing it manually every time you connect to the VPN.

Follow these steps to connect to the VPN without entering your username & password each time you connect.

1. Download blackVPN-Windows-Auto-Login.zip
2. Right click on the downloaded file and choose: Extract All..
   
3. To extract all the files to a new folder click Next > Next > and Finish.
   
4. Edit the file blackVPN-Auto-Login.txt (with Notepad or Wordpad)
   
5. Replace USERNAME and PASSWORD with your blackVPN username and password.
   
6. Save your changes.
   
7. Copy all the files in the folder (blackVPN-Auto-Login.txt and all the VPN configuration files) to your OpenVPN config folder:
   
   • On Windows 32 bit: C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config\
   • On Windows 64 bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenVPN\config\
     
8. Replace all the existing files in your .../OpenVPN/config/ folder.
   
9. Reconnect to the VPN and it should automatically connect using the username and password in blackVPN-Auto-Login.txt
